What is the View Angle Column?
Monitor viewing angles are usually measured horizontally and vertically, and help to indicate over what range content on the monitor’s screen are fully visible.
For example, if you see viewing angle measurements of 178/178, the first number, 178, represents the horizontal viewing angle and indicates that an image on the screen is fully visible over a range of 178 degrees horizontally (side to side) in front of the monitor. The second number, 178, represents the vertical viewing angle and indicates that an image on the screen is visible over a range of 178 degrees vertically (up and down) in front of the screen.
Most monitors listed tend to be 178/178, it is generally recognised that the larger the viewing angles, the better.
